Christmas Films - Top Picks

Happy December, everyone! I adore Christmas. There's something so untouchably wonderful about this time of year, and the festivities of the month definitely brighten the bitter cold of early school mornings.

One of the greatest things about this time of year is curling up with a mug of tea in front of your favourite Christmas film. I definitely can't pick one favourite, but these are a few top choices...

LOVE ACTUALLY // A classic romantic comedy telling the stories of different people at Christmas.

NATIVITY  // A laugh-out-loud film about a class trying to put on a Nativity play to impress.

ELF // The story of an unusually large elf going to find his real father in the U.S.

HOME ALONE // Who hasn't see this film, do I need to explain?

THE POLAR EXPRESS // A train takes a group of children to the North Pole, with surprises along the way.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL // Bah humbug.

Trailers - 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

What are your favourite Christmas films to curl up to?

  1. I saw them all but I think 'Home alone' is the only one I can say I like, though 'Elf' is quite funny

I don't really have a particular favorite christmas film but I can list 'miracle on 34th street', 'it's a wonderful life,' as perhaps favorites if ask to choose

    have a lovely holiday.

  2. I love elf so much! Ah and the polar express. I remember seeing that with my dad when the movie first came out. There was nothing like it.

    1. I watched it again last weekend with my cousin and it's so good! There's something quite dark about it, which isolates it from your typical Christmas film.
